Front Row Society's pattern design by Veronica Galbraith | Pitter Pattern

I’m back! I’ve been neglecting my blog badly and I’m sorry… I’ve been really quite busy! Hopefully, I’ll soon start having a little bit more time to update it more frequently…

I wanted to share with all of you my first pattern design submission ever to a Front Row Society brief.

For those of you not familiar with Front Row Society, let me explain…

FRS is an online shop that offers accessories for women – bags, scarves, leggings, etc… These products are all made with gorgeous prints created by designers from all around the world. Designers are set challenges and the winning designs get produced and sold on their site. The winner gets paid a one-off prize of €200 and each time they sell 500 pieces of the design, the winner receives an additional €200. The last brief was called African Heat and was for swimwear.

Please let me know in the comments what you think about my African pattern design!

If you like my entries and would like the swimsuits to be produced, you could vote for them… That would make me really happy!

I am a designer, originally from Colombia and now living permanently in Cornwall, UK. I graduated in Product Design but since then have mostly worked in graphics for print and web. A few years ago I decided to specialise in Surface Pattern Design and I'm loving it!
