To all my fellow creatives: The fabulous London Design Festival is now here, and it will be on until Sunday 21st September. So get your trainers on and off you go, there are around 300 events happening all around the city. You lucky Londoners!
The London Design Festival is an annual event, held to celebrate and promote London as the design capital of the world, and as the gateway to the international creative community. It was conceived by Sir John Sorrell and Ben Evans. Building on London’s existing design activity, their concept was to create an annual event that would promote the city’s creativity, drawing in the country’s greatest thinkers, practitioners, retailers and educators to a deliver an unmissable celebration of design. First staged in 2003, the London Design Festival is one of the world’s most important annual design events. The Festival programme is made up of over 300 events and exhibitions staged by hundreds of Partner organisations across the design spectrum and from around the world.
Visit the London Design Festival website for more information and to download a free guide and map.
I won’t be able to visit this time so please do leave any comments about your experience if you get to go!
My pleasure Annette! I hope I can attend one day too… :-)
Thanks for the reminder Vero. I really should put this on the calendar for next year as it always looks great
