Just a quickie to share with you my entry to the latest Spoonflower competition.
For those of you who don’t know, Spoonflower is an online digital textile printing service, but there is so much more to it than that – it’s a community of more than 150.000 amazingly creative, like-minded people. Spoonflower makes it possible for all those individuals to design, print and sell their own fabric designs! This was something, not long ago, impossible to achieve for people like you and me, but thanks to technology and people with dreams we can now easily do it without going bankrupt.Read More

I’m taking part in my first blog hop ever this Sunday 3rd June. It sounds like a very good idea as a way to meet other bloggers with similar interests and gain some followers!
It was organised by my “The Art & Business of Surface Pattern Design” classmate Claire Smillie. More than 20 Surface Pattern Designers have joined the blog hop, all with lovely designs to share with the world, so please come and join us!
Last year, when I got deeply involved in the wonderful world of Surface Pattern Design, I made a promise to myself: I would document, in a blog, my learning process and explore all the ins and outs of the trade.
So, here I am, writing my first post for my newly launched blog. I’m very excited, I have so much to write about, so much to share!
I hope you join me in this journey of discovery, as a contributor or spectator, and have fun with me on the way!
