The Professional Creative - Bonnie Christine's new amazing podcast

Don’t know if you’ve heard but brilliant surface pattern designer Bonnie Christine has a new podcast, The Professional Creative, and it’s totally unmissable!

The podcast covers all the topics we want answers to as creative souls and entrepreneurs. There are already 30 episodes available at the time of writing and every single one is a treasure trove.

If you don’t know who Bonnie is, let me introduce her. Bonnie is an artist, pattern designer, and teacher for creatives. She’s been at it for more than a decade and she’s very well-loved by all her followers and students, me included!

She’s an extremely generous designer who has been committed to sharing all her knowledge from the get-go. She believes there’s room for everyone, so she’s not afraid of sharing her journey and all her tips and tricks. You’ll see this right from episode 1 of the podcast.

LONG GONE ARE THE DAYS OF THE STRUGGLING CREATIVE.
For the past 13 years I have been consistently switching hats between artist, entrepreneur, educator and leader – and now I’m ready to share it all with you.

Bonnie Christine

She’s also the creator of the ultimate surface pattern design course, Immersion, and the Flourish community, a place for all the Immersion alumni to continue their design journey, keep on learning and be supported by Bonnie’s wonderful team and each other.

You can visit her website to learn more about her and find all sorts of amazing free resources.

I’m listening to the episodes of The Professional Creative podcast in order. I’m currently listening to episode 12 and can say with my hand on my heart that I’ve loved every single one. I’ve learnt so many new things already, even though I’ve been doing this creative thing for many years too!

Bonnie’s teaching style is engaging and really enjoyable. She’s very knowledgeable and lays everything out in a very clear way. You really feel like you’re just listening to a friend, and somehow it feels comforting, particularly if you’re struggling with any of the creative hurdles she talks about.

I really recommend starting from episode 1: Starting From Zero. It gives you an overview of her journey and the things that are possible and sets the tone for the awesome things to come.

And, to top it all off, some of the episodes have some incredibly useful downloadable resources! She really has put everything into this podcast, like in every other thing she does.

So if you’re a surface pattern designer, artist, or indeed any other type of creative, and I suspect you are since you’re here, I highly recommend you have a listen. I truly believe you won’t be disappointed!

I am a designer, originally from Colombia and now living permanently in Cornwall, UK. I graduated in Product Design but since then have mostly worked in graphics for print and web. A few years ago I decided to specialise in Surface Pattern Design and I'm loving it!
